Why, oh why???

Um, yeah. It's a fun fur throw pillow. Why did I have so much fun fur laying around? I being a person of sound mind and body bought it. So the better question would be what on earth would posses you to buy that crap? And that my friends, I have no answer to. Although I imagine it probably had something to do with a sale. As ridiculous as it is, I kind like that furry monster. I don't know what I am going to to with it.

Wedding Blanket Update

I've neglected my blog lately because of work and school. I guess I am making up for it by posting a bunch during the long weekend. So I keep working on this, but feel like it's going nowhere fast. Imagine if it were all sewn together and a whole lot bigger. I've been sewing the bigger squares together as a I go, but that'll still leave a lot of seaming in the end. I'm very much afraid that the happy couple is going to receive two coordinating throw pillows on their wedding day and get the blanket in the mail later. It's the thought that counts right?



It makes me a little dizzy if I look at it too long. I really, really like it though.

Sewing

Ok, so it's not knitting, but it's crafty. I finally have a functioning sewing machine again! I'm so rusty. It's hard to remember how to do this stuff. I found some pretty brown linen fabric on sale half off at jo ann fabric, and a cute easy pattern. Here's the result. The color is a little off, it's prettier in person. Please ignore the sweatpants and the lack of my head. I haven't brushed my hair or put on makeup yet today, and no one needs to see that.
